"Zadkiel's Light" is a beautiful artwork by Donna McCain that symbolizes our desire for transformation and the pursuit of light. Zadkiel's light activates within us the process of letting go of all that hinders us, of all negativity and false perceptions. In reality, there is only the divine, and all that we consider bad stems from our own erroneous beliefs. In truth, there is only light, and Zadkiel helps us dare to undergo this transformation.
Donna McCain used a unique mixed technique to create this statue, combining a variety of materials into a new unity. The core of the statue is an antique wooden beam, sourced from the roof of an old half-timbered house. Gemstones such as Herkimer diamonds, rubies, amber, clear quartz, and citrine adorn the numerous ornaments. The use of gold leaf dominates, and the lush magenta coloring evokes impressions of opulence and abundance. The elements are playfully arranged, giving the artwork a lightness that contrasts beautifully with the massive appearance of the gold color. The incorporated clear quartz crystals spiral around the statue, and the irregular inclusions of Prana Crystals and Prana Drops are characteristic of Donna McCain's playful abstract style, which transforms complex forms into timeless simplicity. The elegance of the statue is completed by a fine wooden base made of Thai driftwood.
