Precious Metals and Their Effects in Orgonite
Just as important as the gemstones used are the metals employed in orgonite. The most significant metals in orgonite are also among the noblest, including gold, silver, and copper. As will be mentioned later, all noble metals and stones have their energetic properties, which are connected to their inherent divine essences. Additionally, gold, silver, and copper are the best electrical conductors, a quality that plays a central role in orgonite.
Gold as a Metal
Gold has always been a highly sought-after and valuable commodity, maintaining a relatively consistent high value over time. Spiritually, gold is considered the highest form that matter can take during its development. It is the material reflection of solar energy or divinity and is also believed to transmit such qualities to humans. Among alchemists, the transformation of lead into gold was a metaphor for the process the soul undergoes during its development; however, this does not imply that these individuals were incapable of producing actual gold. Gold is said to have rejuvenating, energizing, and protective properties. Like the color violet, gold represents a strong protective and transformative energy. Furthermore, gold symbolizes the masculine and is associated with our self-confidence and ego. Therefore, caution is advised with gold, as too much of it can blind and lead to an unhealthily large ego.
Silver as a Metal
Silver represents the opposing feminine polarity and has many energetic properties that can be considered counterparts to those of gold. While the effects of gold are electrical, warming, and radiant, silver has a cooling, calming, contracting, and magnetizing effect. Silver is connected with water, our feelings, and emotions, and helps energetically in dissolving, letting go, and cleansing all kinds of unwanted influences. Silver also has purifying effects in the material world, with antiviral, antibacterial, and antifungal properties, especially in its colloidal state, where these benefits are transferred to the body. Silver is the best conductor in its normal state, which is important in orgonite.
Copper as a Metal
Copper could be considered the divine child of Father Gold and Mother Silver. It represents the golden mean between the two polarities, making it a transformative element that plays a crucial role both inside and outside of orgonite. A very wise being once informed us that copper will play a very important role in the history of humanity and that this metal has been greatly underestimated until now. Through the union of opposites, copper is a strongly balancing, harmonizing, and transformative element, making it the most important metal in orgonite. It creates harmony between the spiritual and material worlds, becoming a channel for the divine. Some sources also attribute synchronizing properties to copper, particularly in relation to our brain hemispheres. Therefore, copper should be the primary metal in every orgonite and should only be replaced by alloys like brass or bronze (which have a high copper content).
